  1. If you suddenly owned a Ferrari, what would stress you out more: driving it or protecting it?

  2. When you hear the word “budget,” what’s the first word that comes to mind?

  3. Are you more naturally a spender or a saver?

2. Emotional Attachment & Stewardship

  1. The sermon used the Ferrari example to show how our heart attaches to money. Where do you notice your heart attaching to things financially?

  2. Psalm 24 says everything belongs to God. What’s hardest for you to see as “on loan” instead of owned?

  3. How does remembering “I am a steward, not an owner” shift your mindset about money?

3. Knowing the Condition of Your Flocks

  1. Proverbs says to know the condition of your flocks. If your money is your “flock,” how well do you currently know its condition?

  2. Have you ever felt like Haggai described — earning wages but putting them in a purse with holes? What caused that?

Core Idea:
We don’t drift into good stewardship. We choose it. The budget isn’t restriction — it’s permission to live, save, dream, and remove stress.

  1. Pastor said, “You don’t trip into good stewardship.” What intentional step do you need to take right now to move toward financial faithfulness?

  2. How would your marriage or stress level change one year from now if you consistently followed a plan?

  3. What is one practical next step you will take this week?
