At Victory Kids, we view our experience with the children as more than playtime and babysitting. God has afforded us an opportunity to speak into the lives of future leaders and world changers. Therefore, our goal is to creatively teach relevant principles from the Word of God that are understandable and applicable
Our goal is to make every child’s Victory Kids experience the most exciting and fun hour of their week. In order to accomplish this, we wrap each service in a package of fun-filled moments for both the children and those serving. As a part of the enjoyable hour, we are also cautious to ensure the safety of each child in every fun endeavor.
At Victory Kids, our desire is to partner with parents in encouraging children along their spiritual journey. Consequently, we are committed to equipping parents to minister to their children and providing opportunities for families to worship together. We want to challenge parents to use their influence to assist their children in becoming followers of Christ.
Ministry is about relationships. In our services, we are intentional about developing authentic relationships between leaders and kids through small groups and other special events.
Each week, children will experience dynamic worship and the Word of God communicated through multimedia, live teaching, and small group exercises. Parents receive a God Time Cards highlighting each week’s lesson, to help with family discussion for the ride home.
Victory Kids is for children ages three to 5th grade and is dedicated to partnering with parents – assisting them as godly examples for their children. Our commitment to parents is to provide a fun and safe environment where kids KNOW who God is and to help them GROW into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Victory Kids we consider every child a precious gift from God and we will do everything we can to ensure that they are safe when you entrust them to us. When you come to the Children’s Ministry Check In Counter, you will be able to check your child in using our computer system that makes check in easy and hassle-free. You can also download the VLC Checkins app for easier checkins. Your child will receive a name tag with an individual ID number, and you will receive an identification tag that matches your child. If for any reason you need to be reached while in the service, your child’s ID number will be displayed on the two large screens in the adult service.
For the security of each child, you must show your child’s identification tag to the teacher when picking him or her up from class. Children are released to the person who shows this tag.
We believe that young children, even infants, are ministered to by singing, teaching, and praying. All of our resources are focused on two things:
1. To minister and care for babies through song and prayer. Creating an enjoyable experience for your child.
2. To provide a level of service and comfort, that will allow parents the ability to connect with God, with minimal concerns and distractions.
Safe and Clean
Your family will be assigned a unique number. You will be given a parent card with your name and family number on it. This will ensure that only you will be able to pick up your child. Each nursery is equipped with a camera and the monitor displaying your child’s activity is located in the lobby, just outside the doors leading into the worship center. At any time a parent may step out into the lobby to check on their child. Our rooms are clean and the toys are sanitized. The volunteers wear protective footies over their shoes to ensure the carpets stay clean and as germ free as possible. The volunteers that minister to your children have all passed a criminal background check and an application process to ensure only the best care. Approved volunteers are the only ones allowed into the rooms with your child.

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
As a ministry leader for 60 years, Awana is making an impact. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to our alumni’s spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in our programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent still attend church at least weekly as adults!
Each week, more than 1.5 million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in Awana. Over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and more than 10,000 internationally run Awana programs that change young lives through biblical truth.
